The 2008/09 Discover Vaughan Visitor Guide
The Objective:
To help The City of Vaughan create their first ever visitor guide about
Vaughan to show the many reasons why this city is a place to visit and stay.
Working in conjunction with CTM Brochure Display, our company took on the
role of Project Management for this visitor's guide. We took on the role of
preparing proposals, budgets, sourcing sales representatives, managing
advertising sales, editorial, production and design, print and all client
management up to final delivery including preparation of press conference
materials.
The project was a 36-page, 4" x 9" brochure - 55,000 copies were printed and
distributed through CTM Brochure Display and visitor requests direct to the
City of Vaughan, it was also distributed by the City at shows.
2007/08 Mississauga Conference & Event Planner
The Objective:
Mississauga Tourism felt that they had an important message to tell prospective meeting & conference planners as the city has over 1 million square feet of meeting space, major expansions underway at two anchor facilities and over 10,000 hotel rooms.
Working in conjunction with CTM Brochure Display, our company took on the role of Project Management for this new Conference & Event Planner. We assessed costs, made recommendations on paper & size options, managed design, editorial content, advertising sales process, print process, were the on-going liaison with client for approvals and updates throughout the process up to final delivery.
The project was a 36-page, standard-sized magazine. 10,000 copies were printed and distributed through various Mississauga Tourism activities and mailing lists for the meeting & incentive trade.
Mississauga Tourism Visitor Guide
The Objective:
For the 2nd year, MDI worked on creating an attractive visitor guide about Mississauga to show the many reasons why this city is a place to visit and stay.
Working in conjunction with CTM Brochure Display, our company took on the role of Project Management for this visitors guide. We took on the role of preparing proposals, budgets, coordinating advertising sales, editorial, production and design, print and all client management up to final delivery.
This year's project was a 48-page, 4" x 9" brochure - 50,000 copies were printed and distributed through CTM Brochure Display, visitor requests, shows and through direct mail.
Distillery District Magazine
The Objective:
To show the consumer the full complement of arts, culture and entertainment venues available at the Distillery District.
Initiating the idea, our team of experts talked with tenants, decided on the ideal audience, created the format and distribution. We presented this concept to the owners. We sold the advertising, wrote all editorial, provided all photography, design, and printing and managed the full distribution process.
The project was a 36-page magazine - 100,000 copies were distributed to households, hotels and tourism destinations.
K Jamson Magazine
The Objective:
To provide consumers with a comprehensive guide to the
many products available at their stores across the GTA and position
themselves as experts within their field.
Working closely with this client, we provided full editorial services,
design, printing and co-ordination of all co-op advertising material and
photography.
This project was a 32-page magazine - 100,000 copies were distributed
through local community newspapers across the Greater Toronto Area.
QQ Fine Leather Goods
The Objective:
To design a cost-efficient but comprehensive advertising vehicle to highlight the many products available in their stores.
Working closely with the owners we provided advertising sales support with
co-op advertisers, full design, photographic organization and printing
services.
This project was a 16-page digest sized magazine - 20,000 copies were
distributed to households within the stores' neighbourhoods.
Markham Board of Trade Book
The Objective:
To initiate and develop a special project to help the Markham Board of Trade celebrate 25 Years of Success.
The mandate was to show the rich history of the organization and encourage membership from local businesses.
Our team of experts presented the concept to the board for approval and subsequently provided all the historical research to accurately write the story of why
the organization was started and how it progressed through 25 years. Our
team provided all editorial services, design and printing and photographic
organization.
This project was an 80-page book - 2,000 copies were distributed to the
board's members in the city of Markham.
